Does IOS 15 have inbuilt call recorder?

Unfortunately No, there is no inbuilt call recorder in iPhone. Apple recently released iOS 15 and in the official Release Notes there is no mention of call recording feature. So, Apple doesn’t have an inbuilt call recorder. However custom VOIP apps have this feature for eg. Rev Call Recorder.

However iOS 15 have some cool new features for developer like SharePlay, FaceTime Link and GroupActivity.

Call recording is one of the most sought after features in iOS since ages but for some security reason they have not yet provided the feature yet.

I myself an avid iPhone user sometime look for this feature to quickly record some conversation just to go through again at later point of time and take notes but unfortunately it still not available.

However there are some amazing third party app you can use :

Google Voice

AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/google-voice/id318698524

Google Voice

You can record incoming call from other person. Also Google Voice is a free app to use. It gives you a phone number for calling, messaging, and voicemail. It works across all smartphones, computers and macs.

Unorthodox Way:

Keep another smartphone by the side and record using a voice recorder. I know this is absolutely dumb idea but it works.

Rev Call Recorder

AppStore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rev-call-recorder/id1314427915

It allows to record phone calls recording in completely free and without any limits for incoming & outgoing calls. After the call, you have the option to get your recording transcribed by a skilled human transcriptionist but that’s a paid option.
